The Jumeira Lounge within a short period has played a major role in the transformation of underprivileged youths within the district. Within Hargeisa we continue to see so many unproductive, unsupervised young people with no direction and guidance in life which unfortunately results in an undesirable path that leads to crime.

Currently we employ 35 local young people, all have displayed so much potential and loyalty, many of which have come from a way of life other businesses and organisations would have simply closed the door of opportunity. At Jumeira, we have a family orientated approach which we highly value, this approach is a structured program which embraces compassion to encourage the development of interpersonal and life skills to improve confidence within all staff.

At Jumeira we use locally produced and organic ingredients to assist local farmers and producers. We are strive to be environmentally sustainable and donate extra food to the poor and needy in the community.
